Two weeks in, I’ve taken my final train ride. One week to go!

It’s probably not a good thing for a writer to be speechless. But at the end of tonight’s semifinal soccer match between the U.S. and Canada, that’s exactly how I felt.

Alarm? What alarm? I woke up this morning feeling like a newborn kitten. Tired and completely disoriented.

It was a late night at the beach-party-slash-volleyball match at Horse Guards Parade.

Yesterday we all were feeling Day 10 Drag. And we still have 12 more days to go!

Today was a fun day of firsts – my first chance to explore the Olympic Village and my first chance to cover women’s gymnastics this Olympics.

Finally! I’m in London … And I finally feel like I’m at the Olympics.

Today I checked an item off my bucket list* that I’d never even thought to add to it.

Sunday morning, I packed up my things and headed to Central Station, where I said goodbye to Glasgow and caught the first of two trains to Manchester.

Game two! USA vs. Colombia! And my final day in Glasgow.
