Yesterday at the mall, we came upon a prognosticating piece of Steelers memorabilia, a Brett Keisel Fortune Teller machine. He told us we had a fun Sunday in store, as well as a Steelers win. He was right. What a fun, memorable day. And I had such a great time talking to women at the game about their relationship with the Steelers, taking photos and video and getting to know more about the city I was born in. But that, I’ll save for the story.
Here it is, our Oct. 20 in photos … (Sorry for the formatting issues. I’m still figuring out WordPress.)
Brett, tell us our future! A Steelers win? A beautiful day? A Sunday we won’t soon forget? Sounds good to us!
We hopped on the Steelersmobile shuttle from the hotel to head to the Strip District to meet our friend and favorite Steeler, Franco Harris, for lunch at the Fish Company.
Mom showing us where her lunch with Franco ranks on her list of favorite Steelers moments. I know she wanted to ask everyone she met: “How did you get to the stadium today?”
What a day for a football game! (Last day of the duck. He moved on tomorrow.)
- Outside of the stadium, I could still show my Steelers pride.
Inside the stadium, it was back to impartial sportswriter wear. So glad Kristi could make it to the game. My two favorite Steelers ladies!
The final play of the game. A field goal by Suisham. Steelers win 19-16.
