It’s over? Already?! Where has the time gone?!

Kidding! This has been a wonderful three weeks filled with so many great memories and even better people. But once we all crossed the finish line last night, it’s a miracle any of us had the brain capacity to make it to the right gate at Heathrow and be in our plane seats on time. (Mine, for the record, was a non-reclining middle seat between two chatty Gabbies. Ahh, the plush life of a journalist covering the Olympics.)

I hope all you fine folks have enjoyed these daily blog posts. But from here until the next major event, I’ll return to my usual non-scheduled blogging schedule. Don’t expect any for the next week, though. I’ll be sleeping!
