The second-annual Body Issue is out. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can check it out online here. It’s one of the coolest issues we do all year. The photos are beautiful and the athletes who posed for them are pretty dang daring — and their bodies are something to behold.

I’ve been working on this story for months, ever since I picked up a Power Balance bracelet at the Los Angeles Marathon. I was intrigued. What came of that day is a research project on the most powerful advantage athletes have — the power of their own minds.
