Back in February, I had the chance to spend Super Bowl week with two very special folks and fellow Steelers fans, Bob “BZ” and Janine Zinski. This week, their story aired on E:60, our news magazine program on ESPN. My friend and scribe extraordinaire Ryan McGee penned a fantastic piece about Bob’s struggle with cancer, how his favorite team inspired him to keep fighting and his dream week in Tampa this past February. Because of my experience with BZ and Janine, Super Bowl week was one of my favorite weeks ever, and one I will not soon forget. (Okay, that sixth ring didn’t hurt, either.) It was pretty dreamy for all of us involved. And it was an honor to meet the Zinskis. They are special people.
